Combining the basics of classical Tai Chi techniques, ancient Qi Gong practices, and today’s sports science, Dr. Cheng was able to create an apparently easy and effective solution that increases balance and agility, rehabs and strengthens the body after a joint or muscle injury, improves circulation, and promotes total well-being.

How Does It Work?

It is said that Tai Chi’s key element to success is its Dynamic Motion control which uses gentle flowing movements that heal and improve the body. It takes you through light energizing warm-up every day. The program consists of 18 key healing movements starting from individual movements that supposedly allow you to live an active lifestyle with less pain, to series of combinations that apparently lead to overall health benefits in 90 days of workout. The whole program is divided into four phases where you will learn 6 Tai Chi movements in each of the first three phases which takes three weeks long each. The fourth phase which takes four weeks will engage you in multiple movements together in sequence.

I’m on my 7th week now and I do feel an improvement as I no longer have my frequent episodes of muscle and joint pain. If my condition continues to improve, I may keep doing this even after completing the program.

Thanks for leaving a comment Erik. Tai Cheng is relatively mild and is good for improving balance and flexibility. It is also ideal for those who have injury or chronic pain. It seems like your improvement is already proving that point.

I’ve finished 2 different programs in the past, both intense and I wonder if this would be suitable for me. I’d like to try something moderate this time. I don’t have much weight to lose, just want to stay fit.

Hi. It sure is ok for those who graduated from intense workout programs. Tai Cheng would be an ideal routine to help you recover for 90 days but if you’re used to high intensity workouts, you can’t expect it to be the same. If you simply need a downtime and want to keep fit during the process then it’s worth a try.
